MMSEC ~ Permit CourseThe Maine Motorcycle Safety Education Course is approved by the Maine State Bureau of Motor Vehicles Driver Education Unit. The program teaches awareness and appreciation of safe, careful and skillful motorcycle operation. We strive to provide a knowledgeable environment where the student will leave with the skills necessary to safely and confidently enjoy the sport of motorcycling.The MMSEC permit course consists of 8 hours of instruction. When the course is completed and the exam passed the student is issued the necessary paperwork to visit the Department of Motor Vehicles branch in their area and receive a permit to legally ride a motorcycle in the state of Maine. For information on insurance, motorcycle or van insurance, please speak with your local insurance agent. The permit does not take place of insurance. Cost: Tuition $100.
Student Requirements & Responsibilities: Student must be prove they are 16 years old by the day of the class. If under 18 they must provide completion of driver ed course if they do not have a Maine drivers license and please bring something to write with and a highlighter."
 A and J Motorcycle Safety School reserves the right to cancel/reschedule class due to unforeseen circumstances. A and J Motorcycle Safety School course instructors are certified by MSF and licensed by the state of Maine. Please pay online with credit card (paypal) or send check or money order to to A and J Motorcycle Safety School. Once payment is received your application will be processed and we will call you once to remind you of your class.
